Novel Writing

As well as being a novelist, Glenn teaches novel writing to adults at the Workers' Education Association headquaters in Bristol.

"Get That Novel Going has enabled me to do exactly that. I came to the course with a rather blurred vision of my novel, not sure that I had it in me to do it. Through excellent guidance from Glenn and valuable feedback from other course members, I realised I could. The sessions are relaxed, so have given me real confidence in my writing - and they also provide huge motivation to actually sit down and write on a regular basis."

Amy Snowden - writing about GET THAT NOVEL GOING

"I would happily recommend the course to anyone needing to put some structure into their writing (and structure into getting the writing done). It sets targets that encourage efforts. A writer needs sufficient appreciation to carry on but sufficient criticism to make carrying on worthwhile and this is what Glenn provides."

Paul Kirby - writing about the WEAi Novel Writing course

"Following the structure of this course enabled me to write a first draft of my novel Urban Ape. The sessions based around critiquing each others work were invaluable and the support group set up by me and the other students afterwards is still my first port of call when editing. I recommend it regularly to every writer I meet."
